Gathering of Makers 2026
Four Markets. One Community. Connecting culture, artisans, and the land at Prudhommes.
About the 2026 Market Series
Just a few words
Gathering of Makers is a four-market Indigenous artisan series held outdoors at Prudhommes Antique Market in Jordan Station. Each market celebrates culture, creativity, and community while showcasing the work of Indigenous makers from across the region. Vendors bring beadwork, ribbon skirts, crafts, artwork, tools, foods, teachings, and more.
This event series is about connection — to the land, to each other, and to the ancestors who passed these gifts down. Every market is an opportunity for visitors to learn, support Indigenous businesses, and experience culture in a good way.

About The Event Organizer
Gathering of Makers is organized through IndigenousCrafters.com, a community-focused initiative created to support Indigenous artisans and help bring culture, creativity, and local makers together. Our role in hosting this series is simple: provide a welcoming space for vendors, share opportunities, and help build connections that strengthen our community.
This gathering exists with a clear purpose: to uplift Indigenous creators, encourage cultural exchange, and provide meaningful opportunities for artisans to grow. Through these markets, our goal is to create an environment where community can gather, stories can be shared, and local makers can be celebrated in a respectful and inclusive way. Gathering of Makers is about connection—to culture, to creativity, and to each other.
